I’ve been watching that Leaderboard – good luck to all the Woozens out there looking for loooove, and fighting their way to the top spot. It will be so worth it when you and your special someone have that perfect romantic day. Jenny and I are so super excited to help the
Since next weekend is going to be all about Valentine’s Day and couples stuff, my girlfriends and I decided this one would be a girls’ weekend! And let me just say, it was excellent. On Friday night, I set up a projector against my living room wall and watched some 90′s Disney classics! As you may or may not know, I don’t cook. Or bake (much). So I was in charge of the movie and nail polish, Jenny brought a bunch of baked goods (one word: bestbrowniesever), and the other ladies provided fashion magazines, snacks, gossip, and a clothing swap! ;D
Then on Saturday, after a day of fabulous Woozen styles at the Star of the Week competition (congrats again to beautifulworld & Nathan88!!), the girls and I got appropriately dolled up, put our big-girl shoes on, and marched over to karaoke! I have to say I was kinda nervous at first, but then they convinced me to sing “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”! (Ever since the Superbowl, I’ve been Beyoncé’s biggest fan. Girl can work it!) And of course, in keeping with the diva theme, I had to sing some Brit-Brit – so I had to do “Till the World Ends”. Jenny sang “Love Story” – it was too adorable! We ended with a nice group edition of “Call Me Maybe” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.” OMG I love karaoke!
Sunday was a quiet day with outfit sketches but we all got together in the evening to watch the 55th Grammy Awards! It was nice to see Taylor Swift open the show (and we all think she dropped a little British accent when she got to the talking part of We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together!) and for Justin Timberlake to make his come back! It was a very lovely night!
The only people I liking hanging out with more than my girls are you Woozens! I’ll be around the talk pop culture with you all in the What the Wooz?! Unitz this evening. Come prepared to chat about fashion, movies, music, celebs, etc. etc. I want your opinions!
